Mrs. Pickles had the misfortune to fly the JFK-JNB flight (and return) a few weeks ago. She cursed them up and down ten weeks to Sunday. She flew J class, and said the seats were almost as bad as SAS J-class in the early 80's (i.e. way behind the times). She also mentioned the service blows, but the food sucked, to equalize the pressure.

She's still smarting. On the good side, her outbound flight was non-stop (a manageable 13 hours). Her return made a fuel stop at Cape Verde, making the whole project clock in at a lovely 18 hours.

Me? I had to be in London, so flew VS one way and BA the other, in the front. No complaints there...
