"Whatever",
right back atcha!
As your article notes and as my link above shows, the Q1 boost in iPhone share was a blip, not a longer-term trend, probably because of the wider release of the iPhone to other carriers (Verizon). The longer-term trend of Android stealing market share from others, including Apple, is intact for now. Take a look at what's happened thus far in Q2, and what happened last year.
Don't get me wrong - iPhones and other Apple products are quite nice. It's just that their premium pricing and closed permissions might prevent them from regaining what they had before Android (free and very open) came around. Those who want something user-friendly out of the box and/or don't have the time or skills to learn how to take full advantage of Android's capabilities might do better with an iPhone. It's quite popular with both the younger (teens with parents who have money) and older age groups, but for the power user, business user, or someone seeking value and reliability and choice... Android, baby!
