I understand that you cannot use mobile boarding passes for international flights on DL but don't understand the rationale. I have an international flight today with a stop in ATL. Both the originating airport and ATL are on the MBP list. So what difference does it make that the terminating airport is international?

FWIW, I was able to use the iPhone app to change a seat assignment.
