Hi - I am a newbie to the board so I will start by apologizing if my question has been answered already. I promise I looked all over this forum for days before writing.

I have a big home improvement project with a big scary $$$ and want to pay with my AMEX to get the MR. However, the contractor company does not accept CC, only checks or cash. How do I work this?

If you use the checks that come in the mail from AMEX, do you earn MR?

One of you really smart people have done this before. Please help me.
