I've read about it but it's never happened to me before until now

Thursday I flew AC YTZ-YUL-LHR-LIS. All on AC metal except LHR to LIS which was an AC codeshare on TAP.

Flight arrived late in LIS (about an hour, so 330pm) and my bags "might" be delievered to my hotel after midnight or tomorrow

Would this qualify for any type of compensation given it's 8+ hours late
