The policy hasn't changed. It's up to the whim of a GA. I actually got compensated 7,500 miles two weeks ago because I "complained" to Delta after watching a GA pull somebody out of coach into FC after telling me (prior to me boarding) that FC was boarded full so no reason to wait at the gate.

I would love for there to be consistency either way, but I don't see it happening
