I have read your post 3-4 times and I still cannot determine if this is supposed to be some sort of joke post, also based on your other thread.

You are worried about safety, yet you complain that a generous monetory offer for a non-status passenger is not adequate? Would you have exchanged $250 for the peace of mind knowing that the failure was noted and repaired?

Even if one doesn't know the actual statistics, common sense would make it rather obvious that the fatality rate from airline crashes is extremely low, compared to road fatalities.

If this is indeed serious, then welcome, and of course you have nothing to worry about if you are flying any North/South American or the vast majority of European, Asian, or Australian carriers.
