Last year, an elderly gent (estimating 65 or 70) literally screamed at my girlfriend for using her cell phone. Really berated her and shouted insults. She was not loud, nor in a "Quiet Area". And she's not a child. We're in our 40's.
Luckily for him, I was not present, or I'd have given him a lesson in civility to ladies that he would never forget.
He needs to look up the term "Gentleman".
Obviously age means nothing to you. In the old days, people would respect their elders (i.e.twenty years older than you) even if they disagreed with their behavior. Obviously gender (i.e. being a woman) trumps age in your world. Why would you give someone, old enough to be your father, "a lesson in civility"? That's disrespectful on your part. You need to look up the term "respect your elders".
