When it is not busy, that can work, but when it is real busy, the stocking person has to stock nonstop + cleaning up the trash, the coupon system won't work at all. It is like if that person should make checking coupon or stocking food the priority ?
Also, what if one decide to go back and get a coffee and banana at a later time ? Many people bring the breakfast back to their room because of whatever reason, large noisy school group, hotel in full capacity, no seat at all, etc.
Another angle is that there is a lot of waste that goes out in a garbage at the end of the meal..
So a few poachers here in there.. if flying under the radar screen.. won't hurt the offerings.. because some of the breakfast will end up in the garbage anyways..
