Here's what you missed, just moments before you arrived. The guy the bartender was yelling at had it coming. The passenger had some type of altercation/problem with UA. He was talking to someone from UA complaining about something. Haven't a clue what. This conversation took place at the entrance to the club.
What we saw and heard was that same guy giving the bartender grief (possibly taking his frustration out on the poor bartender). The passenger wasn't in a good mood. The poor bartender was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever the passenger was giving, I was glad to see the bartender stand up to him. If I wasn't with you, I would have approached. By that time, another UA employee stepped in.
Some guests assume that any employee should take the brunt of other employees actions..
People will just have to learn from employees who make it point to stand up for themselves.. and tell it how it is..
