Is it still the case where they op up all gold members when the flight is full? A friend has gotten 2 of 6 international segments op up'd to business for zero dollars. I don't know if this is a good sample size or not but does this happen with somewhat regularity?
It is the luck of the draw and chances of op ups are route and load dependent. I have personally not been op upped for 4 years now whereas before that received op ups about 30% of the time!
