Sorry you got dinged. But your first mistake was booking on Air Canada metal, you are almost a 1MM, you should know to avoid.

Ironically, the same trip booked with UA or CO miles would not only be fuel surcharge free, but also be free to change at will for top elites, and even only $25 for us lowly mid-tiers.

I cant believe Aeroplan/AC have the balls to charge its 100,000+ flyers $101.70 to make the simplest change..... and then ding them for more surcharge... while lying to them its part of the "tax".... all class AC/AE!
