We are looking for a late July getaway, and would love to try Jamaica (my other option is Bermuda but we already have a short Bermuda trip planned for later in the year). We are coming out of DC and I am looking at nonstops only as we have such a short trip. But with no kids its all a vacation, even the plane ride...

I have seen some comments on heat, rain and sandflies? Sandflies would be the worst.
