Airbus was able to sell already 730 planes while boing has only gathered 114 orders. When looking at the numbers one could think that Airbus has outpaced Boeing, but I think this is only part of the picture.

600 of the 730 planes are A320 neo, which is not a new plane but the existing one with different engines. However Boeing is not able to equip its 737 with different engines, but they are working on a totally new plane until 2020. Therefore they should soon also be able to present their work and keep up again with Airbus. We will see.
