I have a public library just two minutes walk from where I live. I didn't know about it until their was an election, and it turned into a polling station. Since then I've gone into it almost once a year - in May. I'm a bit surprised that famously tight Westminster keeps it going. I suppose I ought to go in and make a judgment when it's actually in use as a library - maybe a lot of locals use it, even if only as a place to study or something - although the LSE library, not so far away, seems to be the place to study and flirt (so I'm told).
