I have a question about this flight sale. My husband and I were planning on flying roundtrip from Nashville to Panama City Beach in October. At lunch today there were still $40 return flights available. When I went to book this evening, however, the return flight we wanted had jumped up to $190, and the two other return flights to Nashville were $166 each.

I did notice, however, that there is still a flight to New Orleans that changes planes in Nashville for $40. Could we book this flight and just not reboard the plane? What about our luggage? Would it show up in the carousel for us just like for people who are on the plane with a direct flight to Nashville?
