Don't feel too bad, US Airways nickels and dimes their chairman into paying for choice seats as well (exit row is still free). As if we do not spend enough with them already...

I love when I spend $800 on a last minute flight that is on an E175 and the only seats left are in the back of the plane except if I want to pay $5-15 for a choice seat up front.

I normally try to book those tickets with Delta instead and forward a copy of my Delta reservation to the Chairman's email address reminding them how much I love their choice seat offerings.
