I'm still a week and a half out; I didn't think those numbers would be accurate until much closer. Besides, my second question (which I assume you merged with this thread) was more general with regards to making your own route, not specifically about picking the best flight for this particular situation like the first thread, which is why I kept them separate.

I'm not concerned with availability so much as there are so many ways to get where I'm going. I am concerned with whether Southwest will actually allow that to happen, and if anyone has done it.
