They already do, for ADA, as his been noted. And there are Hyatt's that accept dogs that have hypoallergenic rooms, I'm sure.
You can't expect the common areas to be hypoallergenic. That's just an unreasonable expectation. You also aren't going to see dozens of dogs roaming freely in the lobby either. You won't even see one.
