If you want to use your UA miles, you can only use them on 747, A333, 777-200 and 777-300 aircrafts only. From USA, its only the 747-400 left on the JFK-SIN route. Everything else is either the 77W or A380.
It looks like the 777-300ER is the plane used for SFO-HKG. I think I should be able to redeem and business or F ticket based on your info above right?
Do you know why they are restricting the 77W and A380? Newer, nicer and higher demand? If it's during low season, they still won't release it to *A an instead fly vacant or upgrade their own KF members?
