I recently flew HKG-FRA in LH 747 F, and then FRA-SFO in LH 380 F -

In my particular experience, I had a much better time on the 747 F flight service-wise than I did on the 380 F flight. The seat on the 380, however, was amazing - it was super comfortable for sitting, and even more comfortable for sleeping with the mattress pad on top.

Interestingly, the FA on my 747 flight told me that LH has been putting newer FAs that are less trained in the A380 First Cabin - he was telling me that he was kind of sad he used to fly the FRA-SFO route until it get swapped to the 380. I asked him why they took him off and he said that since he was already experienced in serving the 747 F cabin, they wanted to keep him on the 747.

I very much noticed that the FA in my A380 F cabin was very unpolished and not very attentive at all, which I found fascinating since he only really had to serve the 4 people in my cabin. Maybe my 747 FA was right?
