936 has over 100 seats available so I might just try that one and just leave a little earlier. It is a great benefit that I have, but it isn't just on NW either... it's on virtually every US carrier!! Only I can only sit on the flightdeck of a Mesaba, Pinnacle and NW a/c.

As for the furloughs... I'm being spared, thankfully. They announced 45 furloughs in 3 batches starting Oct 1, Jan 1 and Feb 1. As NW continues to replace our saabs with CRJs Mesaba is returning the saabs faster than originally planned. Friday came more layoff announcements for the mechanics and the cancelation of all open positions in the maint. dept.

What's funny is that we'll post a profit again for this quarter.... go figure.
