If you plan on packing things that you are going to try to keep wrinkle-free, then the additional access may be helpful. I really like the Filson duffel for traveling, but I wish the opening were U-shaped instead of a slit. However, as far as I can tell from the web site, one very considerable disadvantage of the Pullman would be its weight.
