My husband recently went on Medicare. He gets a fair amount of care from Mayo JAX. Which doesn't "accept" Medicare (it bills Medicare - and then Medicare sends money to you and you pay bill from Mayo). So far - not a huge amount of dollars involved (and I hope there never will be - travel wouldn't be much fun after a liver transplant ). But it's interesting.

Most CC points we ever made a month was when my late FIL was in a skilled nursing facility. About $7k month billed on a credit card (he was paying it - but we put him on our credit card account).

Apart from the coin stuff (we don't need another 10k message thread!) - and anything else that's been covered - any other interesting ideas? Robyn
