Asia is very well-served by partners.
check MH (Malaysian Airlines), KE (Korean Airlines - but watch out for blackout dates) , CZ (China Southern), Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines as of today June 21 (they joined Skyteam effective today) and even look at options like China Airlines and strange routings via Virgin Australia.... if ANY of these partners have any availability it will be at 'low/saver' rates.

The only issue you may have is that your DL CSR may not know of all of the fine details of these airlines when you call, and you may have to rather carefully guide them through the booking process.
