I tried checking first... so please my apologies if this has been answered or if it is in the wrong place.

So, I'm looking for advice. I don't like to travel alone and I like someone else to take care of the travel plans... travel co's or tour operators. I show up and they take care of everything.

My next few trips will be to South America. II like small groups (less than 15), local interaction and non-touristy. I'm looking to travel to Argentina, Peru, Colombia or Brazil (not all at the same time ). I don't have a big budget, so nothing too pricey.

A German friend recommend viventura. Noticed that viventura.com is 'coming soon' to the US. Took the survey (I could use the $100 off my next trip and a hammock).

My questions are:
Has anyone used viventura before (from any country)?

Is there anyone else that you would recommend?

I've seen websites to help you evaluate hotels, airline programs, but nothing on travel companies. Does anyone know a different website where tour companies are evaluated (ratings and such)?
