YES, this train is definitely worth the BC upgrade! It is one of the best values in the amtrak system, IMO, for the BC upgrade. This train runs with a half cafe/half BC car that were former metroliners. The BC section has seating that is 1 x 2 (one seat, aisle, two seats). The seats are very comfortable with calf rests and leg rests - like a giant lazyboy recliner.
