It depends whether single or separate tickets. If single ticket, then misconnect is an INVOL reroute, which will be on the next SQ flight. For separate tickets, it is a voluntary reroute as HKG is your origin, and SQ will put you on the next flight with award space available. Depending on your status yield mgmt may open up award inventory for you, but varies.
