Thanks for another interesting report, Carfield. I was particularly intrigued to hear about LA - I'm very glad to see them in this part of the world, since by all accounts they are a class act, and their A340's look fabulous.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a rude welcome to New Zealand - being an FF-fiend has its price! Anyway, I hope the NZ service made up for it. I've just got back from my trip to (and on) NZ in a mixture of domestic and international front and back cabins, so I'll be interested to hear how your experiences compared to mine.
