Actually, the 321 has shorter range.

According to Wikipedia, the 320 has a range of (when fully loaded) 3,200 nmi (5,900 km; 3,700 mi), while the A321 has a range of 3,000 nmi (5,600 km; 3,500 mi). The A319, can fly even longer, with a range of 3,600 nmi (6,700 km; 4,100 mi.
