I am accustomed to seeing the price on items being steady over the last 15-20 years, but that is largely due to the change to manufacturing in Asia (or apparently in the case of Mercedes, quality downgrades). Rimowa is still made in Germany (and Canada), their product is innovative and of similar quality, and their pricing is LESS than 17 years ago!
