I can only imagine that shipping a piano would be extremely expensive via plane (probably more than the piano is worth), the only practical option would be shipping via sea.
Most major moving companies have the ability to do worldwide moves. They would know of the right LCL consolidators. Research some moving companies and get some quotes. Yelp or other sites would have reviews.
Thank you for your concern and for taking the time to post. I do realise the post is OT and have stated as such in both the title and content. And I do realise that I can just put 'international shipping' into google etc. However, given that this is a community of well-seasoned travellers, whose opinions I trust, I was hoping someone might chime in with personal experience, which is far more valuable to me than random postings on impersonal sites or google adverts.

PS international shippers charge by volume, not weight, so a piano should be no more expensive than a medium-sized piece of furniture.
