Other than poor non-stop air service, YEG is a great place to live.

My original point in this thread was to question the lack of proper food service on the only AC transborder flight to YEG.

The low regard with which the so-called national carrier holds its customers outside of the government and expense account cities of YOW, YYZ, YYC and YVR is well-known and can easily be documented by many, many members of this board.

WestJet has taken a large market share (including the business market) here especially in the YEG-YYC-YVR triangle for very, very simple reasons: it offers good and friendly service at a reasonable price on
real airplanes.

AC simply can't, or won't, compete with that.
