Miles posted on KE instead of DL... can it be fixed?
I just got off the phone with a rep for the forth time on the same issue, and I'm not sure how angry I should be....
In May I flew RT ORD-SIN on SkyTeam partner Korean. At check-in I provided my Delta #, and within a few days of the outbound trip, the miles posted to my skymiles account. However, the return miles never posted, and I just received my monthly KoreanAir Skypass summary, which shows the miles posted in that account. I only have the KE account so that I could log in before the flight and choose seats, I otherwise have no plans on flying Korean again in the near future (despite a very comfortable trip!).
I mailed my boarding passes and itinerary to Delta ~1 month ago, but the phone reps say they have no evidence in my account that they have received it. I faxed photocopies of the same docs again today, but my question is, is this going to be a tremendous hassle, now that the miles (somehow) posted to my KE account? I also emailed KE to explain the situation... any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for reading!
