I'm planning on visiting friends in Singapore next year and while over there, I plan on buying a top of the range iPad 3 or 4 (depending on what version is available then) as I recently found out that they're over £100 cheaper even with GST in Singapore which I could claim back while in Singapore.

I want to know where's the best place to get an iPad in Singapore? Would it be cheaper to get one at the official Apple Store in Singapore (I take it they have them in stock or would I be able to reserve one to pick up there) or should I take a risk and get one from a independent store?
