Like you, I have accumulated a large amount of Chase points and have found that there is no direct way to transfer points to AA miles. I looked at the webflyer.com link before and may have missed it, but didn't see any linkage to Chase points as a conversion option. The transfer to Hyatt, then to AA may be one to explore but I think I recall that Hyatt requires a minimum number of stays before someone is allowed to transfer points out of their program.
