Currently staying here as a plat member and I was upgraded prior to my arrival for a tower suite. The suite is nice, view is ok, but wireless internet is SO slow.
The hotel itself is beautiful - very friendly staff. The first 5 floors are all restaurants (didn't eat at any of them) and the hotel is split into 4 towers. The buffet is expensive in the morning, about 20 bucks, which was included with my corporate rate. This seems expensive for what you get considering there are lots of starbucks within a block of the hotel.
Also, we visited the revolving bar on top floor. Amazing views of downtown but the bar feels a bit dated. Service was awful here and drinks are expensive (though not that much more expensive than the trendy bars in downtown LA).
The room I received was 2 pie pieces (an upgrade) and was nice with floor to ceiling windows. Everything was very clean, well maintained and cleaned every day with 2 fresh waters added. Great heavily bed! Only complaint is the low water pressure which I think seems to be a downtown LA issue.
Parking was 35 bucks a day, yikes! The lot across the street was 40 per day and did not have in/out access. I recommend biting the bullet and valeting at the hotel or finding a parking lot blocks away to save money.
Overall a nice stay.
