Thanks for a most thorough and enjoyable report!

AA's Business Class fare looks delicious. How were the portion sizes?

Sadly, it would seem that consistently good service in International First and Business classes can no longer be expected on US carriers.

Thanks again for your fine report and the menu transcripts. I'm sure I speak for many when I say we look forward to your next report!

The portion sizes IMHO are fine. On the outward flight, my salad was the smallest I'd ever seen and when I compared it to my seat-partner's salad, mine was definitely lacking. However, I've never experienced that before. The main course was fine and at the end of the meal, I had a very full tummy! I'm a big fella and I find the food quantity to be substantial enough for my appetite.

With regard to variable quality of service, I would have to agree. I hadn't really had a poor-quality service experience on transatlantic flights for many, many years, but my trip on AA57 was quite disappointing.
