When you get your boarding cards, check the seat numbers straight away, as the check-in agent can then possibly change it for you if you're not sat together. I can't answer for the B747 flight as I'm not trained on that aircraft, sorry.
Please let the crew know when you board which type of plug-in you'd like. We have the masks and also carry cannulae, which are easier to have when you're eating/drinking/watching films.

Baconroll - thanks so much for the info. I was feeling like we'll be such a hassle to the flight crew. I feel a lot better knowing that this is fairly routine for BA cabin crew.
