When I do a dummy booking for next May (on the LH website) I see there are choices of 'Basic', 'Plus' and 'Flex'. Would I be paying 10% of the cheapest fare or 10% of the most expensive?

Sorry if these are very basic questions - I'm a bit new to this.

Just spoken to Mrs User Name - I stand corrected on one point - our miles are currently in the Continental program (so will become United in the Fall). Does this make any difference to the price we'll have to pay for the LH booking next Summer?

I'm guessing not.

Final question - is it possible to make an award booking flying business one way and economy on the return? I'm thinking this would save a little money and a few miles as well.
