Yes, I've been having that problem for many months.
Have you ever kept a choicehotels.com window open for a while, then come back to it? You know it pops up a "your session has expired" window? You have to dismiss that window before you can log in. I have a feeling that points.com's interface doesn't "know" that, and that's why it isn't working (since they get your balance by logging into the choicehotels.com website for you, if their automated process can't "see" the popup and doesn't know it has to click to dismiss it, it'll never work).
