While US is by no means a first rate carrier, but it's far from a LCC on international flights. In fact, I have read that its Envoy class is a pretty good transatlantic product. On the newer aircrafts (A330s), they do have AVOD. On its domestic offering, it no longer offers any IFE, but the seats are definitely more comfortable than the ones on CO in Y.
