I'm guessing all being Delta legacy crews is part, but seems like something else is at work here. Do they have a lot of say as to whether they want to work the flights or not? And are they typically JFK based?
Agreed in J, though in Y it seems more average (or at least less hit and more miss).
Almost all my crews have been announced as New York based, which could just be coincident to my travel patterns. I wonder if seniority comes into play... long enough trips that low seniority can't get them, but not as attractive as the international runs, which might get the more senior and more jaded FAs
