Checked in and received my standard Executive room. The front desk staff greeted me by name as soon as I approached them. Impressive, considering it's been 4 months since my last stay!

On the flip side of the "Breakfast a Emporter" card they give you, I saw something new:

"As a Platinum SPG guest we invite you to present this card to receive 25% off your lunch or dinner food bill (from the a la carte menu) in One-O-One Restaurant.
...Please note this is a trial offer and may be subject to changes based on your valuable feedback."

Not for everybody, but it's a nice option to have. Too bad you can't use it for breakfast.
