The Kettles are a bit too tough for my liking.....they make you look like some kind of ravenous animal when eating them. Chomp, chomp,chomp....you certainly know when a Kettle eater is about.
Walkers can be eaten in a more refined and anonymous way.
I am not really a crisp eater and it's not something I would eat in public for fear of being an annoying noisy eater which you cannot really avoid if you want to eat nicer crisps.
However, I agree about Kettle chips from a bystander's point of view.
The worst is when one has a Kettle chips eater nearby with a habit of eating with his/her mouth open. The noise is so loud that I have to walk away from it. Thankfully, unlike loud mobile phone talkers, you do not often have loud Kettle chips eaters who walk around the lounge incessantly as they make loud noises, so at least one can get away from the 'offender' easily.
