It would be a total "dogs breakfast " from an operational perspective...bags, pax...all in a different terminal...how many pax will need to be bussed across? That would vary on a daily basis. Therefore you never know how many buses you need...and BA have a very limited supply of buses.

Also there is a bigger picture to look at...

BA has always maintained a presence in T3...even when it was only two flights a day (PHL)......long term planning and you can get early indications of what the likes of EK and VA are up to
