The cabanas can be reserved (when you're in the lounge) by anybody in the F lounge.

I had not seen the latter stages of your excellent trip report.
As I will have luggage, I will only be able to check in 3 hours before, so will probably not have time to use the cabanas.
If I only have 2/3 hours, will hopefully get a shower at the hotel with late check out, want a decent meal, with some reasonable wine and champagne and to avoid too much travelling around the terminal, would you suggest that I stick to the BA/QF F lounge?
Thanks for the comments regarding the menu. I will chose with care!!
