Which car rental company?

It's not necessary to have a 2-letter code (AF for Air France, KL for KLM) in front of your 10-digit Flying Blue Number. But inserting either an AF or a KL (or, indeed, even an SB, RO, KQ or UX) shouldn't make any difference.
