My daughter has miles that are going to expire and she is wondering about using some to rent a car in LAX. She said when she went to order one the site said extra taxes and fees might be added but gave no totals or idea how much that would be. (This is on the United site). What has been the experience of using miles to rent a car...good, bad, a big hassle? Any tips or advice would be appreciated..thanks!
