This
article seems to summarise the difference between various C seats. I'd be interested to hear whether "LX new C" veterans agree with the author who was apparently stuck in 7G in the "amateur league"

.
* "Division A" - the best seats, by some margin, are 4A, 6A, 8A, 10A and 12A - these are single seats, with windows and a large side-tables right and left, providing a great degree of privacy.
* "Division B" are all single seats - 5K, 7K, 9K, 11K and 14K. These are next to the window, with a large side table to the left that provides some distance, and so privacy, from the aisle. They are placed close to the fuselage though, so tall people may feel a little cramped when sat upright.
* "Division C", the last of the singles - 4K, 6K, 8K, 10K and 12K are, again, single seats, but with the table to the right, meaning the seat is directly on the aisle.
* "Division D" covers the seats which are in pairs, but protected from the aisle. 5A, 7A, 9A, 11A and 14A have windows, while the D seats in the same rows are between the aisles. These seats have the side table to the left, distancing them from either the fuselage or the aisle.
* The rest of the seats, the "amateur leagues" as it were, include 7G and are all in twin units directly on the aisle.
I've read about the proximity of the seat in sleep mode to the floor and found the following comment useful.
The shell of the seat doesn't seem to wrap around far enough (to save weight?), so it can feel as if your face is in the aisle, with feet passing too close for comfort.
